We have a very strong and supportive ‘Friends’ group who are actively involved in many aspects of school life.  Meetings are held as required, usually once a term and the activities include fundraising and social events.  The aim of such events is to foster understanding and co-operation between the home, school and community and to fundraise for additional resources.  

 

The Friends welcome new members at any time.  Their major fundraiser each year is the Possum and Pig Hunt.  This has been running for over 17 years and raises an enormous amount of funds to support learning for students at Te Ranga School.  Join the Friends and contribute to the learning of our students!  Meeting dates are published in the newsletter.
