Meet The Te Ranga Student Council

Head Boy
Legacy Ekana-Vairaroa
Legacy has been at Te Ranga School since a new entrant. He is thoughtful, compassionate and demonstrates all the necessary skills of a leader.
Legacy consistently demonstrates the HEART values of Te Ranga School.

Head Girl
Sophie Roberts
Sophie has also attended Te Ranga School since new entrants. She is actively involved in sports, demonstrates a good work ethic and is an all round great role model for the students of Te Ranga. Sophie always leads by example.

Deputy Head Boy
Caleb Pugh
Caleb is an excellent sportsman who gives his best to everything he tries.
He enjoys hockey and doing backflips!
As Deputy Head Boy Caleb will assist Legacy with Head Boy duties and fill in, in his absence.

Deputy Head Girl
Kyra Purcell
Kyra is a caring and helpful student. She goes out of her way to help others wherever she can.
Kyra loves horses and has won many prizes with her horse. As Deputy Head Girl Kyra will assist Sophie with her duties and fill in, in her absence.

Head House Captain
Hugo Lee
Hugo is a diligent worker and makes an effort to support those around him. As House Captain Leader, Hugo will ensure the smooth running of house competitions and other house events.

Peer Mediator
Caleb Martin
Caleb works well with anyone and everyone. He is a friendly face in the playground and other kids know they can rely on him. Caleb will be responsible for helping others resolve conflict, and making new friends.

Ecology Leader
Josiah Edkins
Josiah is a creative mind who loves working with his hands. This makes him perfect as our schools ecology leader. Josiah will run environmental clubs, which include things like rat trapping and planting trees.

Fundraising Captain
Luka Hungerford
Luka is a go-getter and diligent worker. His work ethic makes him a great Fundraising Captain. He will come up with fun and creative ways to gain funds for both our school, and our schools sponsor child.

Technology Leader
Kiahn Grace
Kiahn has a technical and inquisitive mind with a passion for STEM. He will take charge of technology at school, ensuring effective use of drones, GoPro, coding clubs etc.

Student Council Secretary
Tyson Pearson
Tyson is a motivated student who loves to keep things on schedule, making him the perfect secretary. He organises our meetings and makes sure everyone has the tools they need to get on with their tasks.

Lunch Time Sports Coordinator
Travis Crane
Travis is new to Te Ranga School, but it is obvious he has a real passion for sport.
Travis will be in charge of organising sports games at lunchtimes for students to participate in.
